DTC Meeting tonight

I attended the monthly Cromwell DTC meeting tonight. State Senator Paul Doyle was the guest and he had some good things to say about the state budget. He is not going to blindly support tax increases without some cuts. He wants a two year budget that will be good two years from now. The state is getting a lot of stimulus money and is tapping into the rainy day fund, two sources of revenue that will not be around in two years. Mr. Doyle understands that budgets are hard and even harder in tough economic times. Everyone is going to not like some part of the State budget.
