Ann Halibozek is also running for a seat on the Board of Selectmen. She is the only female among 11 possible candidates. I support Ann because she has the greater good of Cromwell in mind, is a professional, is informed, fair and honest.
She filed the Hatch Act complaint against the chief and she had every right to do so. It was a conflict of interest for the chief to run for First Selectman and be police chief. She does what is right and does not bow to political influences.
Ann is also a fiscal conservative. She is always looking for ways to save money and cut expenses in town. I have faith that taxes will stay in control with Ann on the Board.
